Computex 2023 concludes today, June 2, in Taipei, Taiwan and is undoubtedly the biggest computing event of the year with all the major players attending the event.
Unlike in recent years, when Computex was online-only or, like Computex 2022, much more limited as an in-person event, Computex 2023 is a “back to normal” event and is expected to be as large as previous pre-Covid events .
TechRadar has been on the ground this year bringing back all the latest news, announcements and product presentations from industry titans like AMD, Nvidia, Asus, MSI and many more.
You’ll find all the latest news, hands-on tutorials and analysis on this page, so be sure to bookmark this page and check back regularly throughout the event to get all the latest news and previews.

These graphics cards prove that water cooling is becoming mainstream
A big theme emerging from Computex 2023 is that water cooling is becoming more and more mainstream, as demonstrated by these water-cooled GPUs.
As our PC components get more and more powerful, keeping them cool due to the increasing amount of heat they produce is a real concern, so we expect water-cooled components to become more popular in the future. We’re not just talking about CPU and GPU cooling, as we’re seeing SSDs come with liquid cooling as well.
Faster SSDs are finally coming, but your motherboard might not be ready
Some of the most exciting technologies showcased at Computex 2023 were Solid State Drives (SSDs).
While storage might not be the most glamorous component to put into your PC, the new generation of PCIe 5.0 drives is certainly impressive and could have huge implications for your PC or laptop thanks to their blazing speeds.
We’re talking speeds of up to 22,300 MB/s sequential read and 23,000 MB/s sequential write for some in the RAID interface. Put Windows 11 or any game in there and load times should become a thing of the past.
The wildest PC builds at Computex 2023
While treading the Computex 2023 show floor, Components Editor John Loeffler spied some truly wild and wonderful custom PC builds.
Seeing the imagination and sheer artistry of these builds is always a highlight of Computex and shows why desktop PCs will never die. It’s worth reading.
Let’s try Cougar’s NxSys Aero gaming chair with built-in fans
Our IT Editor Michelle Rae Uy took a well-deserved break (at least for a few minutes) and tested the Cougar NxSys Aero at Computex 2023, a comfortable gaming chair with a built-in fan designed to cool gamers as they play.
It’s a neat idea and worked well enough to cool Michelle down even in the intense heat of a Taiwanese summer, and the price isn’t too steep either.
Acer Predator Triton 16 tackles the thin and light gaming laptop genre
We had a hands-on moment with the Acer Predator Triton 16, a new thin and light laptop that aims to prove that gaming laptops don’t have to be big and bulky.
From what we’ve seen so far, it looks like it could be a great gaming laptop, but with prices starting at $1,799.99 / €2,299 (around £1,500 / AU$2,700), it still has a lot to prove. Stay tuned for our full review later this year.
This water-cooled SSD from XPG is one of the coolest things we saw at Computex
Super-fast PCIe 5.0 SSDs are in force at Computex 2023, and we were particularly impressed with the water-cooled XPG Project NeonStorm, which is capable of blazing 14,000MB/s and 12,000MB/s read/write speeds, respectively.
Keeping the unit cool is a liquid-cooled wrap, similar to what you find on some GPU and CPU coolers. Not only does it look good, but it promises mind-blowing performance, making it a component we really want to put into our PCs.
MSI branches off its gaming roots at Computex 2023
Though mostly known for gaming laptops, MSI is at Computex to showcase its non-gaming lineup, including the MSI Prestige 16 Studio/Evo, which is a powerful laptop aimed at professionals, Intel Evo certified, which meaning it’s thin, light, and has plenty of battery life.
With a 13th Gen Intel Core i7 CPU and RTX 4060 GPU, this could be a real MacBook Pro-killer.
7 Signs Cooler Master Has Gone Crazy at Computex 2023
One of the best things about Computex is that it allows companies to go wild and showcase some of their weirdest and most wonderful innovations, and at this year’s show, that’s exactly what Cooler Master did.
Our tech editor Michelle spent some time with the company and listed seven of the craziest and coolest gadgets Cooler Master has put on display. We all want them!
Asus reveals a gorgeous new liquid-cooled GPU
As usual, Asus is a big presence at Computex 2023 and showcased a range of new gaming products, including monitors, keyboards and more.
But what really caught our attention is the Asus Matrix RTX 4090 GPU, which is liquid-cooled to squeeze the maximum performance out of Nvidia’s beastly RTX 4090.
Cooler Master presents the ‘gaming chair reinvented’
Cooler Master certainly has a lot to show at Computex 2023, but even so, when it claims to have “re-imagined” the gaming chair with the Motion 1, we needed to know more.
It comes with haptic feedback for immersive gaming, with the chair vibrating depending on what’s happening on the screen, and of course, there’s RGB lighting too.
We’re not entirely convinced that haptic feedback in a chair is a great selling point, but hopefully the Motion 1 could be the first gaming chair to make it feel less like a gimmick.
Cooler Master MasterHUB hands-on review
Cooler Master wants to take on Elgato and his popular Stream Deck with the MasterHUB, which we played with at Computex 2023.
It makes taking control of your stream easy and convenient with a sleek design and broad support for popular streaming services for any budding streaming star or influencer.
Corsair introduces iCUE Link to make building your next PC easier
If dealing with a lot of cables is keeping you from building your own PC, then Corsair’s new iCue Link will be of interest. Dubbed a “smart component ecosystem”, it makes it incredibly easy to connect various components like fans and CPU coolers with simple cables which are supposed to reduce the amount of wires in your PC.
Sure, you’ll need your components to be Corsair, but luckily the company makes great pieces of equipment, so it’s not too bad.
Corsair’s Dominator Titanium DDR5 RAM is the coolest tech we’ve seen so far at Computex 2023
RAM is one of the most important parts of our PCs, but it’s not exactly the most exciting. Evidently, Corsair didn’t get the memo, as its new Dominator Titanium DDR5, which it showed off at Computex, might be the coolest technology we’ve seen at the show so far.
We’ve gotten close and not only does it look phenomenal, with a high level of customization, but it also performs like a beast.
MSI partners with Mercedes-AMG Motorsport for a “luxury” laptop experience.
MSI and Mercedez-AMG Motorspot have collaborated on a laptop, the Mercedes-AMG Motorsport Stealth 16, which aims to bring the luxury style and design of Mercedes with the powerful gaming hardware that comes with gaming laptops from MSI.
While only one laptop of the collaboration has been announced, along with several other MSI laptops, the company has promised “more collaborative products in the future.”
5 things I can’t wait to see at Computex 2023
Our IT Editor Michelle Rae Uy is on the field in Taipei and listed the 5 things she can’t wait to see at Computex 2023, including new gadgets for content creators, wacky gaming chairs, cutting-edge gaming laptops and lots of keyboards.
I hope you will see all this and more during the week.
Check out two of our favorite laptops from Acer’s Computex 2023 announcement
Acer previewed some exciting new products ahead of the official opening of Computex, in both the gaming and professional spheres – and our Computing Writer Muskaan Saxena has picked her favorite from both categories which she thinks are worth keeping keep an eye out.
