Its foldable devices rain in 2023. Motorola just made a big announcement, the premium smartphone brand has unveiled its latest foldable device, the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra. Weeks before the teaser, multiple reports proved that Motorola lived up to its latest offering, with many posters spotted around the world, especially in Europe.

The form factor of the device resembles the recently launched Oppo Fold N2 which has a boxy clamshell body. While in a short space of time, Oppo has garnered considerable adulation from consumers around the world, it seems that Motorola is making its presence felt in the foldable segment. Samsung, Oppo, Xiaomi and Google have already made great strides in the segment.
Not much was revealed in the 30-second clip. However, the tastefully done montage shows the foldout in three interesting shades, with double screens, one on the flap and the other on the inside. The device looks sharp with a metallic finish. There are no specifics or price details. Users may have to wait longer to get more information.
However, based on some recent reports, the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra may come with a 6.9-inch foldable Full HD AMOLED LTPO internal display that will have a peak brightness of 1400 nits and a refresh rate of 165Hz. The internal display will come with a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and can sport up to a billion colors. Meanwhile, the external display will come with a 3.6-inch AMOLED panel that will have 1100 nits of peak brightness with a 144Hz refresh rate. The device should have Gorilla Glass Victus protection on both the back and front.
On the performance front, the new Motorola Razr 40 Ultra is said to feature the powerful Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset supported by an Adreno 730 GPU. It can have up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB onboard storage. It should be noted that the specs mentioned here are a compilation of various recent reports. There are still no official confirmations from the brand.
