Kenny’s Best Computing Deals from CEE Show 2023 (Part 1)

The CEE Show is here and it’s happening right now at the Suntec Convention Center, Levels 3 and 4. With so much happening, it can be hard to uncover great deals. But don’t worry, I dropped by to check it out and here are the deals I think you should check out.

Acer Aspire 3

The Acer Aspire 3 is one of the most affordable notebooks I’ve seen at the show. It comes with a 15-inch display, an Intel Core i3-N305 processor, 8GB of memory, and 512GB of storage. This setup will set you back S$598 (about S$698). Or you could get it with a more powerful AMD Ryzen 5 7520U processor for S$697 (about S$798).

Lunar aftershock 14

The Lunar 14 features a 14-inch 2.8K display with a high 90Hz refresh rate and is powered by an Intel Core i7-13700H processor with 16GB of memory and a 1TB SSD. It’s going to S$1,550 but there is one special S$1,455 TikTok price. If you want the more powerful Lunar 14X that comes with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 GPU, then this is it S$1,790 with a special TikTok price of S$1,695.

Asus vivobook 16

Another budget notebook I’ve found is the ASUS Vivobook 16. This comes with a 16-inch Full-HD display, an Intel Core i3-1115G4 processor, 8GB of memory, and a 512GB SSD. It weighs 1.5 kg which is acceptable considering its size. It’s going to S$699.

ASUS ROG Rapture GT6

ROG Rapture GT6 is ASUS’ first ROG-branded mesh networking system, and it’s a beast. It is a tri-band Wi-Fi 6 system capable of delivering speeds of up to 574Mbps on its single 2.4GHz band and speeds of up to 4,804Mbps on each of its two 5GHz bands. It also has a number of features to reduce latency and also a 2.5G WAN port for users with high-speed fiber connections. It now comes in white and is going to S$999 for a pack of two and every purchase with come with a free Vivowatch SP.

Gigabyte Aero 14 OLED

If you’re looking for something a little more high-end and premium, consider the Gigabyte Aero 14 OLED. This has a 14 inch OLED display with a resolution of 2880 x 1800 pixels and a refresh rate of 90Hz. It is powered by an Intel Core i5-12500H processor and comes with 16GB of memory, 1TB of SSD storage and discrete graphics in the form of NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050. It’s going to S$2,499.

HP laptop 14

Another budget notebook I’ve found is the HP Laptop 14 and 15. Both models feature Full-HD displays and are powered by AMD’s Ryzen 5 7520U processor. Both also have 8GB of memory and 512GB of SSD storage. No matter what size you choose, it is S$699 (about S$799).

Kloxia Exceria Pro

If you’re looking to upgrade your storage, check out the Kloxia Exceria Pro. It’s a PCIe 4.0 x4 SSD that offers maximum sequential read and write speeds of up to 7,300MB/s and 6,400MB/s, respectively. It comes in the M.2 2280 form factor and is available in 1TB and 2TB capacities. The 1TB version is S$135 (UP S$155) while the 2TB version is S$268 (about S$288).
